Pulling is self-reinforcing. The dog pulls, the walk continues, so pulling works. No piece of equipment teaches a dog not to pull — what equipment changes is whether pulling still pays off, and where the force ends up in the meantime.
A dog pulling against a collar is putting that load through its throat. This harness moves it to the chest, and the front attachment point — a clip on the chest rather than between the shoulder blades — turns forward pressure into a turn back towards you. That is what makes it self-correcting rather than a contest of strength. There is a second clip on the back for walks where none of that is needed.
Reflective stitching runs across the chest panel and along both sides, so the dog reads as a moving shape under headlights rather than as nothing at all.
Sizing runs on chest measurement, not weight. Measure right around the widest part of the ribcage, just behind the front legs: small fits a 40 to 60cm chest, medium 55 to 70cm, large 66 to 90cm, and extra-large 78 to 105cm. Where the ranges overlap, take the larger and bring it in on the adjusters — a harness at the top of its range has nothing left to give.
Two fingers should slide flat under any strap. Check it again after a week; every new harness settles.
