A dry brush lifts loose hair, but it also lifts a cloud of it into the room. A light mist first weighs the fur down, so more hair ends up on the brush and less on your furniture.
Fill the small reservoir, press the button and it releases a fine spray as you brush. The damp also helps you work through the small tangles that form behind ears and under legs, before they turn into mats.
